Rangmanch is MCWR’s creative corner where we showcase creative activities around River Yamuna. These could of any nature—songs, poems, compositions, drawings, paintings, arts, performance etc.
MCRW organized a painting competition for primary school children to create awareness around River
Yamuna. The site of the competition, Government School, Sungerpur, is close to Pallagaon where
Yamuna enters Delhi. Acting Principal of the school Shri Aakash Jain and the teachers kindly agreed to
lend their premises and also helped us the event on September 30, 2022. Students of 4 th and 5 th standard
participated in the event. They drew colourful paintings of their imagination of River Yamuna. Later
MCRW organized an award ceremony where all the children participants received prizes.
